jwhois (An improved Whois client)

概要

jwhois とは、日本語や IPv6 にも対応した whois クライアント。

インストール手順

$ tar xvfz jwhois-2.4.2.tar.gz $ cd jwhois-2.4.2 $ ./configure --enable-DEFAULTHOST=whois.nic.ad.jp $ make $ make check $ su # make install # cd /usr/local/bin # ln -s jwhois whois <--- お好みで # exit

これでおしまい。最後に Slackware 7.0 標準の fwhois を消しておく。

$ su # rm /usr/bin/whois # rm /usr/bin/fwhois # exit
