カピラバストゥとダーバダハの中間にルンビニーと呼ばれる花園があり、町にすむ人々が毎年夏になると

花園に集まり、サーラ林の木陰で楽しいときを過ごすのが習慣となっていました。

園内には様々な木や鳥などが生息していました。

Mid-way between the cities of Kapilavastu and Devadaha, tehere stood a Pleasure Park called Lumbini.

Each summer people of the cities foregathered in this Park for rest and recreation in the shade of Sala trees.

They enjoyed the sight of the trees in bloom, the warbling of birds and the hum of bees.
