小国であったカピラヴァストゥ王国はヒマラヤ山脈の麓にあるタプティ河の北方に位置し、

統治者は釈迦族のスッドータナ王といい、妃はマハー・マーヤといいました。

Kapilavastu, was one of those minor Kingdoms. It was located at the foothills of the Himalayas,

to the North of River Tapti. The Ruler of this Kingdom was King Suddhodana of the SKya clan.

His Clan-name was Gotama. His consort was Queen Maha Maya.
