太子の命名式の二日後、マーヤ夫人は病床に臥し、そして他界しました。すべての人々が

悲しみの中に突き落とされました。特にスッドーダナ王の悲しみは大変なものでした。

マーヤ夫人は徳の高い高貴な王族の貴婦人でした。このため王は大変悲しみました。

Two days after the naming ceremony of the Prince , Queen Maya took ill and away.

All were plunged into sorrow. King Suddhodana's sorrow was the greatest.

Queen Maya was a virtuous Lady of a noble Royal Dynasty. This was the reason for

the King's deep sorrow.
