The Infant Prince is named 'Siddahartha' the leaｒｎed men, who assembled at the Palace.

太子の誕生後五日目に、スッドーダナ王は多くの賢者を招き、太子にふさわしい名前を付けるように

頼みました。賢者たちは協議の末、「シッダルタ」という名前が、太子に一番ふさわしいと決めました。

この名前は、「かなえられた願い」という意味です。

Five days after the birth of the Infant Prince, King Suddhodana invited many Sages and requested

them to select a fitting name for the Prince. The Sages held a discussion and selected the name

'Siddhartha' as the most suitable for Infant Prince. The name means "Fulfilled Wish".
