1. Make a paper pattern out of pasteboard, which is 3 centimeters length in total. Put one balsa-wood on the other and place the paper pattern on the top of the woods. Then cut the woods along the paper line, which will produce 2 pieces of woods pattern bilateral symmetrical.
2.Carve 2 ditches for a brass string and a plumb to set them. Paste the woods together with an adhesive. Round off the corners with a cutter, and make the surface smooth with a piece of sand paper.
3. Paint it with lacquer over and over again until the grain of the wood will be completely covered. (Caution!: If you work in a room, make sure to ventilate so as not to feel awful.) Then paint it using the acrylic paint whose colour you like. Fill in the eyes on each sides. Coating it with non-colour paint, which doesn't liquefy the base painting, is better for lasting the colour much longer.
4. Finish with an adequate size lip.
